Unforgettable High School memory (good or bad):
Tons of them. I won't reveal some of those fave memories, but one I tell people about involved Mrs. Senter's homeroom--junior or senior year. Can't remember which. Mrs. Senter stepped out of the room, and someone in the classroom started whistling the theme of The Andy Griffith Show. Others in class spontaneously joined in and Mrs. Senter came running in because she could hear us all the way down the hall whistling Andy Griffith. She half fussed at us/half laughed about it.
That, and once David Wilkins was hanging out one of those old, big windows in the class talking to someone out on the road. The window slid down and caught him in the middle hanging half in and half out. The bell rang and we all said bye to him (including some of his closer buddies like Barry Tidwell) and filed out of the classroom leaving him there stuck in the window.
